Support Hawaii

When warm sunshine, soft sandy beaches, rich history, and incredible culture are calling your name, Hawaii is the place to be. Nothing short of paradise, it’s hard to think of a more welcoming environment than the Islands of Aloha.

After West Maui’s destructive fires in August, many travelers have felt unsure of whether paying a visit will be helpful or harmful to the area’s residents and recovery efforts. While it’s crucial to be mindful of the devastation that has occurred, it’s also important to remember that tourism makes up nearly a quarter of Hawaii’s economy. According to the Hawaii Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism, the activity that is most responsible for the state’s economic growth and standard of living is tourism. For that reason, Maui’s visitor arrivals dropping 57.8% from 2022 can have a significant negative impact on the island’s economy.

Hawaii Governor Josh Green has recently announced a phased approach to reopening West Maui, which he described as “a gentle reopening that will serve both the people and local businesses.” This approach is meant to address the economic importance of visitors while remaining respectful of the countless individuals who were affected by the fires. Tourists are welcome to explore the open parts of West Maui as long as they are considerate of the locals and avoid areas that are still closed.

In fact, the impact tourism has on Hawaii’s economy is more important now than it ever has been . On our tours, we strive to support the area’s economy by eating local, visiting historic sites, and enjoying attractions that help sustain the regional population. Embark on your dream tropical vacation and stay in stunning resorts steps away from the beach, enjoy shopping local at Whalers Village, and soak in the sun on Ka’anapali Beach, all while supporting recovery efforts in Maui. While historic Lahaina remains fully closed to the public out of respect to the area residents that are recovering from the tragedy, a memorable trip to Hawaii is still a reality and is encouraged.

We offer five unique itineraries to the Islands of Aloha , giving you a variety of options for your trip to paradise. Whether you want to cruise, visit three islands, or a comprehensive exploration of four islands, we have something for everyone. Each island offers truly unique scenery and attractions, and all boast phenomenal culture, natural beauty, and history.

Our Top Picks

Hawaii is home to famously beautiful beaches, tranquil blue waters, and vibrant scenery that sets the scene for a perfect tropical getaway. While all these features alone make for an unforgettable vacation, there is so much more to do and explore here that makes this destination even more worthy of your bucket list. We’ve compiled some of our favorite attractions for you to peruse and explore on your vacation no matter what your interests are.

Culture: From the moment you set foot on a Hawaiian island, you are immersed in longstanding cultural traditions. Start your vacation with a traditional flower lei greeting, welcoming you to the Islands with true Hawaiian hospitality and marking the beginning of your escape to paradise. Enrich yourself with a deep-dive into the area’s past at the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu, where hands-on experiences and exciting presentations show you Hawaii’s historic splendor. Of course, no trip to the Islands would be complete without a traditional luau experience . Bear witness to an incredible display of culture and skill while enjoying authentic Hawaiian cuisine at the Drums of the Pacific Luau and Polynesian Show, featuring dancers clothed in traditional dress performing chants, songs, and dances of the South Pacific and ending with a fire knife finale.

Nature: Explore the unique natural landscape of each island, from the lush greenery of Kauai, the Garden Isle, to the dramatic mountains of the Big Island. Discover centuries of fascinating natural history with visits to Waimea Canyon – the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” – Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and Punchbowl Crater, an ancient extinct volcano. Get up-close to the fascinating marine wildlife of the area at Maui Ocean Center, where you’ll see octopi, seahorses, sea turtles, and many other species found in the surrounding ocean.

History: Home to many significant sites and landmarks, Hawaii is a state rich in historical significance. The Pearl Harbor National Memorial, located on Oahu, serves as an important reminder of one of the most pivotal days in American history. Our tours also drive past Iolani Palace, which served as Hawaii’s capital for a period of time and is the only palace in the United States once inhabited by a reigning monarch. With natural history also being a large part of the area’s culture and splendor, Punchbowl Crater is not only an incredible display of nature’s wonder, it is also the home of the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Officially dedicated in 1949, the cemetery serves as the resting place for nearly 53,000 veterans and their family members.
